Some of us prefer to be pushed...

Not everyone in the club is an aspiring Racer-X.   For some of us, a good paddle means dropping in on some nice swells and letting nature do the work for us.  For some of us, a paddling session isn't complete without a stop at one of the local beaches -- far, far away from urban Hong Kong.

There's nothing better than busting out of the office, hopping in the boat, and heading for some of the best beaches and cleanest water in Hong Kong.  In the summer on our recreational sessions, you're likely to find the boat drifting aimlessly while paddlers take to the water.  Sometime we even take our skin-diving gear -- there is coral out there.  The year 2001 brought us a new surprise as three pink dolphins moved into Port Shelter.  We have regular sightings of them in the mouth of our harbor.  They really are pink!
And when the weather's good, we'll rent a junk and paddle together to one of the far beaches on the eastern side of Sai Kung country park.  "Toto, we're not in Hong Kong anymore..."  Junk trip to Long Ke Wan, 29 August 1998
